Review of You and I Alone by Melissa Toppen

This is the first book I have read by the author Melissa Toppen and it will not be the last book  that is for sure. She is now on my 1-Click list!
Description:
Twenty-one year old Anna Blake has lived her life by one simple rule; never get attached. Having learned early on in life that nothing is guaranteed, she knows there is only one person she can truly rely on; herself.

But when she accepts a job as a dancer at one of the most secretive and exclusive clubs in the country, operating under the name Logan, she meets the one man who makes her question everything she thought she knew.

Bentley Reed is exactly the type of man women crave. Rich, powerful, and as sexy as they come; the definition of a playboy. A former soccer star turned business mogul, Bentley is used to getting what he wants, when he wants it.... but he has never met a girl like Logan before.

Their undeniable attraction is clear from their first encounter and neither can deny the sexual chemistry that flows between them. When Logan agrees to one night with Bentley, she has no idea that one night will alter her very existence.

Determined to walk away from a man insistent on not letting her go, Logan struggles to resist the temptation of what her body desires above all else.

What happens when two people who operate by the same rules, find themselves breaking them all for the chance to experience just one more night in each others arms?
My Review
This book is scorching HOT read. I started reading it thinking I would read a little bit and go to sleep but that did not happen at all.  I had to stay up until I finished the entire book.  To me this was not your typical stripper vs rich guy romance read. Anna/Logan  in my opinion is a dancer at a high class gentleman's club. She is not a stripper as she doesn't remove her clothing. She does like sex though and has a thing going on with Josh the manager, She doesn't believe in love and when you read the book you will understand why.

One night she looks out and sees the most amazing man in the audience  and he asks for a private dance (which she doesn't do). Not wanting to take no for an answer he comes to the dressing room to confront her. She finds out his first name Bently. Later she discovers he owns the club she dances in.

This is their story and it is one HOT Steamy STORY!  THIS IS PART 1 OF 3

TGIF IT'S A PDA DAY Thanks to Best Selling Author Milly Taiden

Yes the weekend is off to a wonderful start thanks to best selling author Milly Taiden!

Paranormal Dating Agency Book 6 - STANDALONE
BBW Paranormal Shape Shifter Romance

Isabella Barca is great at organizing—not so great at keeping her nose out of trouble. When Bella goes to work as Mrs. Wilder’s assistant, the opportunity of a lifetime pops up: travel with Gerri to another planet, a shifter planet, and help Gerri find a lion king his mate.
Alyx Treyvaal isn’t known for being patient. A lion doesn’t ask for help. A lion doesn’t apologize. And he most certainly does not purr. But once he meets Bella, he finds himself doing all of the above…except for purring. He will not purr.

My Review: Milly doesn't disappoint!!! If you have not read Books 1`-5 in the PDA series
That is Paranormal Dating Agency Series grab Twice the Growl  which is book one and get caught up, Each book is a stand alone BUT you will understand more about shifters, Gerri, the agency and how each of the characters play off each other if you read the other books in the series.Believe me they are short read and very well worth it. I own every one and when I want a smile or want to get to have a good time with my hunny, we pull up one or two of the PDA books and read them together, They are hot as hell and pantie melting for sure. You might have some laughs  in the books but you will always and I do mean ALWAYS come always dripping wet.

I was so happy to see that Bella was Gerri;s new assistant and wondered when she left her all alone in the new place to unpack, You know when you tell someone to not touch something...that is the one  thing they are sure to touch, OH YES. This book is literally out of this world hot. I have waited and waited for someone to explain to me where shifters have come from and Milly does in this book, I like the explanation quite well and look forward to out of this world match making from Gerri.
I am not one to talk about a book's storyline so you will not see me say much other than I was greatly impressed with the wording. I could see this world with my eyes like I was there. The castle in all it;s uniqueness. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to Book 7 in this series and more PDA.
Thanks for a great start to my weekend.

Lie to YOU by J.C Valentine

Lie to You (Forbidden Trilogy Book 2)

I thought he was the one. I thought we were headed someplace great. I didn't know anything.

My mystery man is no longer such a mystery. He's still commanding and headstrong, playing my body and mind like an instrument, but I'm finding there are layers to him I never could have dreamed. What I've learned since that fateful night in his apartment has me reeling. Now, though, the truth has taken a backstage to other, more pressing matters.

While I struggle to make a choice that will determine the direction of my future, lies that I thought had been carefully hidden away are coming to light. My head is such a mess I don't know what's up or down anymore. Will I be able to sort it all out, or will the life I've worked so hard to build come crashing down in a pile of secrets and lies?

This is the second book in the Forbidden Trilogy series, If you have not read
"Dance For Me" by J.C. Valentine, which is book ONE grab that one first to fully understand everything as this is a series that feeds off of.
Dance for Me on Amazon- http://preview.tinyurl.com/oyf582a
If "Lie For Me" were rated on heat level I would rate this 6 pepper hot!
Joe or Josephine is a stripper by trade but not by desire. She only strips to pay the bills so she can go to college. She is ashamed of her job, but it does pay the bills and allows her to eat and go to school.

Joe attracts one very hot man...well actually two twins but she didn't realize it. They are as different as night and day. Dark and light.... You know the good and evil. We have the College Prof and the Biker. If it were me...  I would say  no choosing just put me in the middle of this twin sandwich. BUT oh hell that does not seem to be the case with these two fighting twins.

There is so much we learn in book two that was hinted at in book one. We see some of the reason Joe hates her best friend's boyfriend *he gives me the creeps*. And we get to see each of the twin's personalities come out in full force.
Looking forward to book 3 in this series

Review of Out of Your Mind, Daisy's Choice

This is indeed a darker book than The Naked Chef was.
The Book starts off with Daisy ending up in a small town in Ca off the highway. She is stopping off for some food and looking for a job. A job and place to live while she could eat and still send money home to take care of her mom who was in special care. Of course she meets Lupe. Who feeds her and introduces her to Garrett Brinkley an artist that she knows all about from school.

Daisy ends up working at his house and art gallery and ends up in his life.

Garrett and Daisy are as different as night and day. She is young and bright. He is older and dark. She is an aspiring art major and he is the dark brooding artist who has a phobia about people. They both need each other. He needs her a whole lot more than she needs him but she  is drawn to him. Tied to him in such a way that is really not healthy.

When I read it the first time and I read the book twice... I saw deep dark controlling issues with Garrett. At first to me he was abusive. The second time I read the book I looked deeper and did NOT see that in as much as I saw this fear of people and being alone, unable to be loved.

These two people are drawn to each other. They have been brought together by some force as you would that brings out the not so much good in in but "better" in  him and in Daisy she is letter to grow up.

This is a good read and one that I will read more than the two times that I have. Looking forward to more of Garrett's story and more from Diane Hernandez. She has shown she is a very talented writer.
