My Review of Inked Memories by Carrie Ann Ryan

Inked Memories (Montgomery Ink, #8)Inked Memories by Carrie Ann Ryan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ink Inspired is easily the sexiest, steamiest book that I have read by author Carrie Ann Ryan. I waited on this book to POP into my kindle with baited breath on Halloween morning very, very early.... in Fact the Montgomery family is one of those families that I always plan my reading schedule around the "opening day" or in this case the closing day. This is the last book in the branch of the Montgomery Ink or INC family but of course this is not the last we'll hear of them. This crazy and loving bunch of folks always ends up in other series of books along the way.

So let me share a little 'bout Wes and Jillian's story In case you have been living in a cave and have not read any of the other Montgomery Ink books Wes (Wesley)is a twin to Storm. Storm and Jillian used to be "bed buddies" but nothing more. When Storm found his happy ending in book 7 to Everly, Jillian became Storm's best friend. Wes on the other hand well... Hang on let me back up here. I left out on very important thing to those who might not follow the books. Jillian is a plumber and a good one at that. She works for Montgomery Inc (the building side of the family business). Wes and Storm also work for this side of the family business. So, they all work for and in the same business. Yep, close together side by side...well not always side by side as they do remodels and rebuilds all over the place. But you get my drift.

So, there seems to be this tension below the surface with Wes and Jillian whenever they are together. What exactly is it? The tension that is there is not just them though and that is what makes this book so good for me. This book doesn't just focus on romance is a sexy sense but it also gives us a mystery and one that is hidden and written into the storyline in a really good way. It would sneak in and strike out in at times and make me JUMP.

I would be remiss if I did not tell you to be sure to have your tissues on hand when reading this book. There are times I cried myself silly. Especially knowing history that went on behind the scenes. This book will always have an extra special place in my heart. It is a book that is well written and so worth the read as a romance, mystery even and yes of course within the place of the Montgomery Ink legacy.
