Family by Blood & Heart...Come to Hope Harbor

I discovered this new series by one of the authors I read a lot and I wanted to tell you about it. I liked it so much I read all three books in the series in 2 days. The books are on kindle unlimited if you want to check them out from KU or pick them up on Amazon in your country. What I like about this series is that it is not a just a romance (oh yes there is that) but it is real life at it's nitty gritty. We get to see a family and how they interact with each other and and those around them. The island may be small but it is large as far as it's heart and home. Come meet the community of Hope Harbor.

The best way for me to introduce you to them is thru my reviews so please read on..

This second chance romance introduces me to Hope Harbor and this wonderful Island family. When I say family i mean of blood and of the heart. We are quickly introduced to the Hope family which are not just a big family in size but also in heart as well. Drew is a doctor along side his friend Liam have a practice on the island and need a nurse. So Liam hires one...just so happens she broke Dr Drew's heart 15 years ago when she left him for someone else in college. Life is never exactly what it looks like from the outside and Drew has to find out for himself the story that April has led to bring her back to the island with her daughter Tilly and son Leo. This book does have some issues about domestic violence in it so if it is a trigger for you please be aware about that. Our author has written a book that touched me deeply on so many levels and I can not say how much it called to me. I had to start on the next book s soon as this book was finished...

This is the second book based on Hope Harbor I have read and I loved both of them. Both are based about the Hope family...this is Arlo the quietest of the siblings. The shy brother, and I really do mean shy one. Arlo does not leave his oyster farm and he doesn't like people showing up unannounced either. Which Hilary, a chef and blogger finds out when she shows up to get him to sign with her to showcase his oysters on her blog. Life doesn't go as she planned and let's just say a big dog named Bear gets in the way and leans a hand to fate to get things moving along. This book showcases real life and how things are if you are profoundly shy. I loved reading about shellfish farming even though i am extremely allergic myself. Coming from a large family myself, the Hope family has me captured and I want to read about each sibling and this island itself.

This is the third book in the Hope Harbor series. Each book is a complete stand alone and is based about the Hope family which happens to live on the island off of Seattle called Hope Harbor. I am in love with this big extended Hope Family. This is Agnes or Aggie's story and what a story it is. It is one that so many of us share with her and one our author tells with honestly, bravery and truth to what happens in real life. And then we have Dr Liam Davidson. He grew up with Aggie and is her brother's best friend and partner in the practice. He could never figure out where they went wrong and their lives separated instead of connecting when she came back to Hope Harbor. Life ... Family by blood and of the Heart all on the island of Hope Harbor.
