Checking out the Books in 2019

OMG When I finally got the Okay to read again on Jan 10 I cranked up the kindle and went to town. I thought I would be reading non stop but it has not been that way because yes my yes do get a wee bit strained. But I have read 30 books and reviewed 25...need to get the last 5 written up. Before I get off of me and on to the wonderful book I want to share with you all, let me just say Thank you to the wonderful and amazing authors who share of themselves with all of us. I always knew that reading helped me. I use reading to help with my depression as well as my memory issues and other issues related to multiple strokes and continuing seizures. Reading books daily help to keep my brain functioning and strong. What is really funny to many people is I am dyslexic and yes I read anywhere from 300- 500 books a year. Having to stop reading because of my eye surgeries was one of the hardest things I think I have ever done. It was harder than when I stopped smoking. YES! I missed it, not only from the habit, but from my memory issues. ASK my family. so thank you authors for keeping my brain healthy but more than that thank you for the laughs (todays book OH MY GIDDY AUNT!) and the romance.  So, Enough about me lets talk books in 2019.

If you want to Laugh and have a great read at the same time I highly suggest picking up
Pippa Grant's Charming as Puck. If you have never read any of her other books you are really missing out on quite an experience on fun, laughter and yes even a quirky romance. And if you are on Facebook and like to be a part of weird and yes a wee bit of sexy fun women join in her Facebook group The Pipsquad.

Goal! Score! Nick and Kami got their story Finally and it is "moorvelous". If you do not know who Nick Murphy is, well he is one of the hockey players mentioned many times in previous books...If you have read any of author Pippa Grant's books. Ya Nick is Felicity Are's wife's big brother... does that right some bells? If you were around back during the dickcookie episode then you will remember that Nick loves to play practical jokes and even more so you do not mess with someone he loves, like his sister.
Then we have Kami Oakley, his friend with benefits and his sister's best friend (yep they went there). Kami has had a crush on him since forever. Okay this is all nothing new if you have read past books and they were messing around in them. This book gets really good really fast. We get to meet a cow-dog thank you to the pranks!!! oh my stars how in the world can one man be so clueless. I can truthfully say that the cow-dog has more sense and knows that Kami has been in love with Nick since high school. Men right? But this book is not just about Nick and Kami oh nope we get all our favorite Copper Valley Thrusters.... I mean what would it be with our the twins and yes we need to hear from Joey and Felicity right?
This book had me laughing so hard I spilled my coffee all over my bed. Because yes I was up reading it the moment it hit my kindle. Not sure how our author is going to top this one. It is so much fun and yes we have romance to boot!

Another really good read but one that is on the erotic side is from one of my favorite authors Sierra Cartwright . This one I have passed off to my hubs to read as soon as I finished it. So he has started it right now. I can't wait to hear what he thinks about it. He is a slow reader but I will let you know when he checks in.

I really enjoy reading Sierra Cartwright books and i always pass them off to my husband to read after I read them as well. Mason goes a charity BDSM auction that he really did not want to be at. Hannah has come from Texas to New Orleans to take part in her first slave auction. Fate... Karma... destiny. This book moves at a really good pace for me as a reader. The chemistry sizzles and POPs like a whip whizzing through the air. The scenes are so well written i can see them like I am there myself. Snap, Crackle, DragonTail, Smack!
