Review of Hollywood Stardust Books 1 and 2

Typecast (Hollywood Stardust)Typecast by Kim Carmichael
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When this book started I picked it up, put it down wasn't sure if i liked it but decided to keep reading and fell in love with Ivy and Logan quickly into the story. Ivy is one of those folks who is suppose to be in front of the camera but she is scared to death and has stage fright. But she really wants to be an actress.
Then she meets Logan. Bad boy, sexy man and part of the iconic team of Hollywood Stardust Movie.
So many things went on in front of and behind the scenes of that movie 20 years before it would make your head spin and here Ivy is bringing it all to the surface again in interviews...or trying too.

Grab a copy of this book and find out how this it all begins but don't worry it doesn't end with just Logan and Ivy .... you get to go on to a second book. This is the first book I have read from Kim Carmichael and I am so happy I was given a copy for an honest review.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second book in the Hollywood Stardust Series and it is my favorite of the two. I can so see this book as a move in today's world. I mean with the remakes of Grease all this book would fit right in as a movie.

In this book we get the story of Elin and Drew in all HER glory. Oh my we get the FULL ON HOLLYWOOD GLAM QUEEN and at times I had to remind myself just how old no young she was. That is not a bad thing but a good thing about how well Kim Carmichael wrote her characters in this book.
We get to see Drew back when he was part of the movie and how and why he thought and did the things he did...AND we see him now and WHAT He is now. (NOT giving that great nibble away.)

This book is so good I could not put it down once I started it. I can only hope we get books for the other characters in the movie cause I really...I do mean I REALLY want to see Ryder handling the chargge.com gal...or maybe we should say Cora Caine handling Ryder. I received this book for an honest review and I HONESTLY LOVED IT!
