What a way to start a new year off right. Author Carrie Ann Ryan once again has us in where she wants us and that is now moving with her to a new city, with a new group of friends and family to enjoy life with the Collins family. Tabby's family FINALLY we are getting to know them and see the ins and outs of what makes her who she is from her "la familia" side. This is the story of Dare her older brother. Not sure if you remember but Dare (with a cute son) was a cop and a darn (not Dare) good one until something happen. Now he owns and runs the bar and restaurant side of the family business. Great start to a new 5 star series
I am always excited to read a new book from this author. Rarely if ever does she disappoint me and she certainly did not in the case of Whiskey Secrets. To start out a new series is always a scary thing for both the author and reader alike, but Carrie Anne Ryan gives us just enough familiar characters from her Montgomery Ink series ( Tabby the sister to Dare is engaged to one) to make us feel right at home.
The storylines are both believable and current. Plus it helps the Dare and Kenzie's chemistry burns so hawt. This book is yet again another 5 star read for this one-click author.
