Great start to a new 5 star series

I am always excited to read a new book from this author. Rarely if ever does she disappoint me and she certainly did not in the case of Whiskey Secrets. To start out a new series is always a scary thing for both the author and reader alike, but Carrie Anne Ryan gives us just enough familiar characters from her Montgomery Ink series ( Tabby the sister to Dare is engaged to one) to make us feel right at home.
The storylines are both believable and current. Plus it helps the Dare and Kenzie's chemistry burns so hawt. This book is yet again another 5 star read for this one-click author.

I love the Celebration series! Stacy Eaton knows how to write the perfect town that I would want to live in. The folks are a great mix of people who make you laugh but also bring you in for hugs.

In this book we get to know Corraine and Tommy more. We met them in previous books because she is Thad's sister and helped fight when Linda and Ian were attacked. You do not have to read the other books to enjoy this one but i will say that from experience, you will like this one so much more if you have read the other books too. Nolan is the neighbor across the street who was Thad's best friend growing up. But he has always had a thing for Corraine if you know what I mean. So in this one we get to see her finally realizing it. It is so fun to watch it happen. Great book with so many touching and down to earth truths in it.

This is a re-release and update for this series but it is new for me as I had not "met" this author so to speak when she released it the first time. This author is one of my favorites to read so she comes to feel like part of my book family.
The first book in this series really lived up to the title of HOT STUFF.

Imagine 3 young girls loose both parents...go to live with a gruff but loving uncle who runs a sports Agency. Yank has no idea how to raise his nieces but with his personal assistant it all works out and in fact not only does he raise them well, they all work together. In book one (each book is a stand alone book that is connected to each other but you do not have to read the others to get them), we get to know the oldest sister Annabelle and get to start to learn about the in-depth relationship of Yank and Lola his PA.

Yank has a match making side to him that and he starts with Annabelle...having her team up with an old client who has come back to him on bended knee...Brandon. I really loved this story. It was so believable!
I highly recommend this book. Now off to Book 2.

Mikki or Michelle is the youngest sister of the bunch. When the girls came to live with Yank after the death of their parents she was the one I feel most effected by her parents death and the one who was the closely bonded to Yank. She immediately said she wanted to wear pants and be called Mikki. She is most comfortable in a locker room with guys just hanging out until she one see really wants to date and then things change.

In this book more than the others you will see how much Yank has his hand in the lives of the girls. we see how he leads them to how he feels they would be best suited with.
Carly Phillips writes so vividly that i can see the scenes like I am watching them on tv. Great reads.

THEN majorly handsome quarterback Riley Nash shows up demanding to see Spenser himself which is odd since Yank is his rep.

Things get all fun and crazy when Sophie *(who is refusing to admit she has a thing for Riley) and Riley head out to search for him together. Being in close quarters can bring all kinds of feelings...

Carly Phillips knows how to write a fun book that keep you turning the pages .In this book Amy (Spencer's niece) moves up from Florida to join in the business. She had already met some of the clients at her cousin Riley and Sophie's wedding but one stuck out in her mind John Roper. She thought he was really nice and of course good looking until his date showed up...then she felt stupid and like a third wheel.

Wouldn't you know her client would end up being the one and only JOHN ROPER himself and she had to come up with ways to get him ready for the baseball season, while keeping his family from driving him crazy. In the mean time she needs to keep from falling for the man himself.

Alpha Dragon's Virgin Bride (Paranormal SciFi Dragon Shifter Romance) by Scarlett Grove

Scarlett Grove is an author who gets my attention on page one and never lets up til I hit the end of my kindle. In this book (which is the second book in this series but can be read as a stand alone), we get to see more about my favorite shifters the Dragons and how some have worked to help rebuild the US especially after the Dark Sun.

We meet Desdemona who lives on a farm or compound with her extended family. Since the Dark Sun happened there simply is no electricity unless you live in the city where one of the Alphas or Kings help you. If you happen to be a witch you will have a wonderful life as you live in a temple and will be guarded 24/7 and will be married/mated with an immoral (Alpha or King).

In this book I love the play between Desdemona and her future "man". She is not one to lay down and say OKAY. There is spunk and spice and just so much good reading in this book. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

So hard to believe that this is the last book in the Club Destiny series. But WOW Nicole Edwards ended this series with such a wonderful book. Dylan story is one i have been waiting for forever and it was in so worth the wait. He is just so perfectly broken with Sarah ...they both are amazing together.

There were surprises inside the book... for me at least. I love the way she moved characters to other series so we won't loose them and I thank her so much for that. Nicole Edwards is an author who writes books like a good chess player plays a game of championship chess.... She thinks many moves, or books ahead.

As with all her books...expect sexy times. 5 stars
OH Yes Ladies and Gents she did hint at Trent too... So be still my heart.

Let's start 2017 off in a HOT way with the newest book from Tara Crescent

Wagering on Wendy by Tara Crescent is book 4 in her "Playing for Love" Series.

Tara Crescent is one of my favorite authors especially when it comes to meneage. She just knows how to make them seem just like everyone else but better. In this book we get to know Wendy one of the circle of friends, who happens to be a divorce attorney.We know from the start she has been raised by a strong single mom and really has no room in her life (Wendy) for a man for any long period of time.

The day she finds out that her sperm donor has passed away she happens to meet to of the most delicious men on the planet Earth while out with the girls. Funny thing is those same two men will later play into her sperm donors legacy and her life. I can;t share much more without giving away plots of this really hot and suspenseful book. Lets just say it is one that I personally will be reading more than once.

Michelle Fox is taking me into a new direction with Vampires instead of wolves and I have to say she did very well with this book. I was not sure at first since I was so used to her furry friends not fangs but she sold me 1000%. This book has everything you can want and more. It has a different take on vampires and their blood bonds.

Myra and Kristos are the featured couple in this book and I can not wait for the next book to see if they are in it OR if there are more vampires for us to get to know.
5 stars for this book and a great start for a new series.
This series is for age 18 and above it is HOT HOT HOT on the Heat Scale!

I have been waiting for this story it seems like forever! I just knew it would be one of those hard ones for Carrie Anne Ryan to write and even harder for us readers to read. I was so right. Make sure you have your box of Kleenex handy when you settle down to read Hailey and Sloane's story. Please note this is a novella so it is not a LONG story but it is packed with so much emotion that it feels like a full size novel vs a novella.

If you have not read any of the other Montgomery Ink books you will be fine jumping in a reading this book but I have to tell ya, you are missing out on a great series of books from an amazing author. Grab them and get to know this family by blood and friendships. Hailey owns the Taboo, a cafe and bakery that shares a wall and door with Montgomery Ink where Sloane works. Those two have been circling each other for a long time. It is time they landed or flew away. Both are strong souls who have survived so much.... And we finally get to find out what and IF they land together or apart.

Hidden Ink IS my favorite Carrie Ann Ryan book of all times. I invite you to find out why I would give it 10 stars if there was a way to do so. It touches on so many things that we see every day in our lives and this books is just so moving.
Sorry I can not say more without giving the story away. You simply need to read this one folks.

Dirty Chaos Review

OH MY WORD This book is so HOT! There are three children born in the same town. Same Hospital. Within minutes of each other but two 3 different mothers. Two boys and 1 girl. All three became fast friends and grew with to do ALL and I do mean ALL their FIRST together.

Then in comes a fourth...a hot biker boy who shows up up and takes over not only the track but also one of the triad's heart. What all happens from the opening page to the last page is so good and I am looking for more more more from these folks. I am hoping that L. A. Corvill will give us at least 1 maybe 2 more books and fill us in on the two others in the triad.

Grab this book and see if you can get down and dirty in all the Chaos. I received this book for an honest review.

When A Julia Kent book hits my kindle I drop when I am doing and READ IT! OMG I LOVE HER BOOKS AND THIS ONE WAS SO GOOD!! How am I going to wait til March 2016 for the next part of this book I will never know. (All I can hope is that I will have some Mavis to tide me over....)

Julia Kent knows how to mix the perfect amount of humor with sex. Realism with oh so crazy it just has to be true. In this book we get to experience the Momzilla. Shannon's mom and oh my Lord if she was my mom or if I were Declan I think I would have locked her in a basement when she started going nuts.

Andrew, Andrew, Andrew .... yep he kissed Amanda yet again... 2 times in closets and then we get the real deal in this book. Oh yes this book is about Shannon and Declan's wedding but is really all about the best man and maid of honor.

We also get to learn more about Amanda's past and see maybe a sneak peek (I am hoping) into her mom and possibly Senior McCormick.

If you have not read The Shopping for a Billionaire Series start with one and keep reading...Like ME YOU WILL BE HOOKED! Once you finish head over to all the Random Acts Books. If it says Julia Kent as a author. Read it!

The Training House GIRL

I have been waiting for this book since I heard that Eden Bradley was writing it. I have been learning about the lifestyle and being a submissive myself, I was very interested in reading this book. She did not let me down.

Girl is a submissive who has signed a slave contract to do whatever the Master wants he to without question for the next year unless he cuts her loose from the contract. She feels an instant connection with the Master and it seems he does as well. There is another submissive a male who Girl feels a connection to by looks alone.....

This book is intense and is one I personally will be reading more than once. Yes there is a cliffhanger but one I do not mind at all. I am looking forward to BOY the next book in this series.

Let me say this is a hardcore book and not one who has no idea what BDSM is about so take that into mind before reading this book.

Release Day Review Abandoned and Unseen 5 Stars

This is the second book in the Branded series and you are actually getting two books inside this one book. If you have not read Stolen and Forgiven I would highly suggest reading it first although it is not necessary it there are cross over characters that help you understand the going ons.

In Abandoned the Bear Shifters have been moved into the compound with the wolves and the cats. WOW! A compound made for one group is now housing 3 different groupings of shifters. Talk about crowded. In this book we get to meet a set of adorable cub twins and their Feisty Mom ANYA.... Cole a panther shifter has found his mate in Anya and boy this is a fun and hot read. First before he can act on it he has to help her recover her kidnapped cubs.

UNSeen the second book in the Branded Packs is about *The Unseen*. the Unseen are shifter who humans have not seen and collared. They have managed to pass as humans and are hiding in plan sight. In this book we meet Nicole a wolf shifter who's young child was murdered by a human guard years before. Tucker is an UNSEEN we have met in other books. This is their story. We also see more of Sinclair and meet Mira a human who is helping the Unseen.

I have to say that the Branded Packs are written by two authors (one is Carrie Ann Ryan one of my go to authors) but you would not know this at all. Their writing styles mesh so well that the book appears to be written by one person.
While the book has lots of action it is very steamy hot shifters to boot!

Scaling her Dragon Review

Another Grand Slam by Milly Taiden!! I have been waiting for my Paranormal Dating Agency to match up a Dragon because they are my favorite shifters and finally wish was granted! I just knew that Vikter was going to be something special and it was going to take a special human to be his mate and Milly did not disappoint me at all.

There is nothing better than Dragons ...Curvy Women ...Lots of Loving and OH yes even some fighting going on!

I am so looking forward to more PDA and seeing where we go from here.

Twisted Lies 3 by Sedona Venez

I LOVE THIS SERIES!! Sin and Core are sinful that is for sure and Book 3 keeps drawing us in. OH MY we are seeing more and more that there is no way these two will NOT be a couple at the end of this book OR will they?

Sedona Venez knows how to weave a tale of erotic mystery. I could see every single thing she wrote on the page as it happened. I could see the dresses Sin created and wanted them for myself as a Curvy gal. Could feel the pain in the book and OH MY I could feel the heat between the sheets to say.

I loved the way Sedona Venez reminds us about things from the past books (because hey some of us don't go back and re-read before the next installment comes out or have great memories) and it helps in my opinion to keep it fresh in my mind why things are as they are like Cole's Mom's death and Sin's disgraceful excuse for a mom Grace.

Twisted Lies 3 Winds YOU UP and Gets Us ready for what is bound to happen next... I am so ready for more. 5 Star read. I was gifted an ARC but purchased the book as I do each time so I will have the collection when the series is complete.

Review of Out of Your Mind:Garret's Control

This is the follow up book to Out of Your Mind: Daisy's Choice. It answered all my questions and MORE!
I would love to live inside Author Diane Hernandez mind while she writes her books.

Garret's story was a harder read for me than Daisy's story oh but to me it was so much better. Diane got down and dirty with these two characters and we got to see the inter workings of their lives. Why Garret has all his issues and need for strict control. We see Daisy change in ways that is not good and see why she changes. Both struggle with mental illnesses that if treated can lead to healthy lives but if left untreated.... We also see what Alzheimer's disease does not only to the effected person but to the carer as well.

There is a strong theme through this book of control and touches on almost abuse but not quite. Be aware if you have abuse issues in your past that this could be a trigger for you. This book is a VERY GOOD READ AND I look forward to more books from this author in the coming months. She is very talented and has a magical way with words. If you have not read Daisy's Choice you need to read that first then Garret's Control.

OH how I wish the Art work described in these books were real because I can picture them in my mind. I would love to see them with my eyes.
